Online Lessons are lessons deliverd through a video conferencing application like Zoom, Google Meet or Skype. A teacher conducts a 1:1 lesson live as opposed to a pre-recorded version of the lesson. You can ask questions, give feedback, and connect in the same way as a 1:1 lesson in the same room.
Online Resources
Teachers often use resoruces online, and share the screen so you can both see the same thing. In many ways, with so many resources online anyway, being in front of your own screen during a lesson has it's advantages.
Convenience
The main advantage is not having to travel to the class to access top quality instructors. A 30-minute lesson take 30 minutes of your time.
Choose your teacher
Here at Online Lessons we feel it is important to be able to choose your teacher. You can see a welcome video, snippets from lessons and their CV to help you choose the right teacher for you. In most schools, you will be given a teacher without being able to choose.
Recorded lessons
If you want certain lessons, or parts of lessons to be recorded and shared with you just ask your teacher. It's a great way to review the lesson. You can also create a transcript of the lesson within Google Docs. There's a Tool called Voice Typing which creates a transcript of the lesson automaticallly taking what is heard and converting it into text.
