With flights grounded and consulates closed, travelling this summer looks increasingly unlikely. The solution: learn English at home with a teacher from London. Today Online Lessons launches its summer school option for international students. We are offering 3 lessons per day, for 5 days, in a 2-hour window.
Parents can choose start London times of 08:00, 10:00, 13:00 or 15:00. Students will start with an hour-long English lesson followed by a 20-minute break. Students then come back for a 30-minute lesson. This runs Monday to Friday giving you 15 lessons a week. And the price? £15 per lesson, making a week cost just £225.
Students will develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. They will practice grammar and improve their vocabulary. In the break, they can also develop a piece of work to bring to the final lesson. They will also take a tour of a famous landmark of London online. Many museums like the British Museum have developed excellent online experiences. Our teachers take their students on a guided tour of these famous London landmarks.
Most students will start with in a 1:1 lesson. But we will offer each student the opportunity to pair up with another student of similar age and level if we have one available. Learning in a 2:1 environment brings more fun and engagement to the course. Students also get the chance to make a friend, something that summer schools have always done.
